Caps/Num/Scroll Lock Notifications on you Ubuntu desktop

13. November 2010 - 16:08

I recently bought the Logitech Wave keyboard and although it's a great keyboard, it has one flaw. It does not have caps/num/scroll lock LEDs! This really gets annoying at some point.

Luckily here is a solution - lock_keys script

This will display a notification bubble every time you press one of the lock keys. This one of those just-works things, so there not much more to say about it » more

Poplavljena Ljubljana

19. September 2010 - 19:27

» more

Otvoritev Mesarskega mostu

12. July 2010 - 3:31

» more

Huliganstvo od blizu

24. May 2010 - 3:05

A dovolj uvoda, sledijo slike » more

In January, I wrote on how to replace the default buttons with your own. Although that code seams to work most of the time, some issues appear when running it on different Android versions. It also isn't as "clean" as it could be.

So here is better and cleaner way width no issues that keeps all the theming stuff in xml files. » more

Android - How to replace the default buttons (including those in dialogs)

4. January 2010 - 23:46

So you want to replace the default buttons in you Android application. With a little bit of googling you can easily learn how to do that.

But than you run in to a problem. You notice that dialogs still use the default buttons. Your first reaction might be a long the lines of "But I set my custom button in my theme, which should set it for the entire application, right?!?". Well, not exactly. Dialogs use their own theme (Theme.Dialog or Theme.Dialog.Alert) so we have to create a subtheme of Theme.Dialog (Theme.Dialog.Alert) and force dialogs to use it.

So, here I will explain how to replace all the buttons in you Android application. » more

Hi everybody! This is my homepage. I create it mostly to host a gallery of my photos and some of my projects (And also to get to know Drupal better). Also, I'll probably write some ramblings about the mentioned subjects on this pages when I feel like it.
